UNESCO-Shenzhen Funds-in-Trust Africa Project is aimed at strengthening the higher education systems through the development of quality assurance mechanisms. Launched in 2017, the project has a lifespan of three years and is supported by the government of the People's Republic of China and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government . This project establishes quality assurance mechanisms to enhance the higher education systems of ten African countries, covering areas such as improving institutional capabilities and supporting system construction. It also involves cooperation with multiple parties to facilitate the implementation of the project.
